At the end of the Spring Term the Staff, together with the Staff of the King's School, ventured into the field of amateur dramatics and performed Esther MacCraken's three-act play "Quiet Weekend."
Perhaps I should say that they ventured into the wilds of the country with its background of rain and rivers, and let themselves in for many unquiet weeks of preparation and rehearsal, but the efforts of the producer, the cast and those who helped behind the scenes were well worth while. The play was well received and a total of £15 from the collections taken was sent to the Cathedral Death Watch Beetle Fund.
