Michael and Lorna Delanoy (Freeman) worked very hard to create the Farmland Museum, Denny Abbey for which they were each awarded an MBE in the New Year Honours announced on 31 December 1998.

Pauline Tambling CBE (Dorling) - Set up the National Skills Academy for Creative and Cultural Skills and was until recently the Chief Executive of Creative and Cultural Skills. Awarded the CBE for services to Education and Training in the Cultural Sector in the Queen's Birthday Honours 2014.
